Falkirk Round Table, founded 1950, has the twin roles of fun and fellowship for its members and service to the community.
In terms of the number of members, Falkirk has one of the largest Round Tables in Britain.
Falkirk is a historic town in Central Scotland.

Falkirk Primary Schools 5 a-side competition
Once again Falkirk Round Table would like to thank Tesco for providing the goody bags for each child and Falkirk Football Club for donating a football and replica top for each school that took part in the tournament.
Falkirk Round Table were represented on the day by Charles Masterton, David McClements, Donnie McNelis, John Gold, Chris Marshall, David Croal, Kevin Gilmour, Scott Cunningham, Phil Lauder, Jennifer Croal, Jack Cunningham, Ethan Laird and Andrew Lauder.

Santa Claus takes time out of busy schedule to test drive his new FRT Sleigh
Christmas float convenors Kevin Gilmour and Jim Snedden approached staff at Alexander Dennis earlier this year about buidling a sleigh to replace Santa's evening sleigh which has been in operation since 1972 and were only too delighted to assist.

Cheque Presentation to Forth Valley Talking Newspaper Association
F.V.T.N.A transcribes local newspapers including the Falkirk Herald onto tapes for the blind and visually impaired within the local community and for a few Bairns that live further afield. Thanks to all who attended with the money raised on the night being used to purchase 2 new high speed CD copiers which F.V.T.N.A hope to have installed by 13th November 2008 - 17 years to the day after the first tapes were produced on 13th November 1981!

Cancer Research UK - 24hr Relay for Life - 20th and 21st September 2008

Falkirk Primary Schools 5 a-side competition
A fantastic tournament was held a Carronvale Boys Brigade Centre this year, superbly organised by Chris Marshall (Community Service Convenor). As a result of the excellent weather we were able to hold the tournament outside for the first time!
Winners of the Girls tournament was Stenhousemuir Primary beating St. Margarets Girls 7-6 in a dramtaic penalty shootout after the teams drew 3-3 in normal time.
Winnners of the Boys tournament was Stenhousemuir Primary beating Bonnybridge Primary 1-0 in the final.

Santa Claus is visiting Falkirk Early this Year
Santa Claus is visiting Falkirk early this year to help raise money for local children with life limiting illnesses.
Falkirk Round Table, part of the UK's longest running social and community association for men, is organising the Christmas float as part of the national campaign Making Numbers Count.
The scheme, set up in partnership with Round Table and the National Association of Children's Hospices, is aiming to raise £ 100,000 nationally for children who will not live to reach adulthood and their families.

Charter Dinner - 9th November 2007 - Park Hotel Falkirk
The 57th Annual Charter dinner was held on 9th November 2007. Front Row - Jim Delahunt (Setanta Sports presenter), Andrew Soutter (Chairman) Graham Drummond (National President RTBI). Middle Row - Jim Robertson (Procurator Fiscal) and Joe Harper (Ex Aberdeen, Everton and Hibs Footballer). Back Row - Harry Johnston (Honorary President) and Philip Lauder (Immediate Past Chairman).
A sum of £ 2,800 was raised in aid of CHAS (Children Hospice Association for Scotland).

National President 2007-2008
Falkirk tabler Graham Drummond took on role as National President of Round Table for 2007-2008 at National Conference in Cardiff.

Thursday 10th May 2007- New extension opened at Tayavala
Andrew Soutter, Philip Lauder and Scott Cunningham were delighted to attend the official opening ceremony of Tayavala in Camelon on behalf of Falkirk Round Table.
Terri Hallam (age 16) who use Tayavala and her mum Janice performed the official opening along with project manager James Crossley (left) and Peter Brown of Wooden Spoon charity.

Presentation to Ross Thomson
Chairman Philip lauder and members of Falkirk Round Table presenting Ross Thomson from Camelon with the Striker wheelchair attachment which they helped to fund. The attachment allows Ross to play football in his wheelchair. Falkirk Football Club Managing Director George Craig and Centre Forward Karl Finnigan were on hand to witness the handover. As a special surprise Falkirk Football Club have invited Ross to the club for a tour of the stadium and to have a chance to score a goal at the stadium.

Santa Cheque Presentation
Santa Claus dropped in on the members of Falkirk Round Table at the Park Hotel, Falkirk on Monday 26th February to present a sackful of money to Marion Hall of Arthritis Care Research £ 4,000 and Hugh Jones of Lecropt School in Camelon (Barnardos) £ 3,000. This was the money collected from the Christmas Float collection. Chairman Philip Lauder thanked the people of Falkirk once again for their tremendous support.
